• Sightseeing:
  • National Memorial Chorten
  • Buddha Statue
  • Takin Zoo (national animal of Bhutan)
  • Trashichho Dzong (view from junction)
  • National Library & Folk Heritage Museum
  • Handicraft Bazaar for traditional arts & shopping
• Evening at leisure to stroll around Clock Tower Square.
• Overnight: Thimphu

• Drive to Punakha, the old capital, via Dochula Pass (10,000 ft).
• Visit 108 Druk Wangyal Chortens and local apple stalls.
• Stop at Lamperi Royal Botanical Park (nature walk & wildlife spotting).
• Visit Punakha Dzong, a majestic monastery built in 1637.
• End at Suspension Bridge.

Overnight: Punakha

• Drive to Gangtey Valley via Wangduephodrang Dzong.
• Explore the valley, Gangtey Monastery, and learn about Black-Necked Cranes.
• Return to Punakha in late afternoon.
• Overnight: Punakha

• Drive to Paro via Semtokha & Babesa Express Highway.
• Stop at Chunzom Check Post and stretch on the bridge.
• Check-in at hotel, day at leisure.

Overnight: Paro

• Morning:
  • Paro Dzong
  • Ta Dzong (National Museum)
  • Kyichu Lhakhang Monastery (7th century)
  • Paro Penlop Heritage Farm House
• Afternoon:
  • Drukgyel Dzong ruins
  • Drive to base of Tiger’s Nest Monastery (Taktsang)
• Evening at leisure / shopping in Paro town.

Overnight: Paro

• After breakfast, drive back to Phuentsholing.
• Check-in at hotel, rest of the day at leisure.

Overnight: Phuentsholing
